Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Apr 13, 2022

Deputies received a call regarding fraud. The complainant stated she received mail stating her social security number was used to file taxes. The complainant state they have not filed taxes yet and wanted to file a report.
A complainant called to report a woman had contacted their daughter with a civil protection order in place. A report has been done for documentation and sent to Children Services.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Sycamore Road on a possible burglary in progress. The complainant advised that an unknown individual had forced entry into his residence covered in blood and appeared to be highly intoxicated and belligerent. The complainant stated that the individual was attempting to walk throughout his residence, in-which he retrieved his firearm and held the individual at gun point until deputies were able to arrive on-scene. Deputies were able to make contact with the unknown individual and placed him under arrest for burglary.
