A complainant contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to the suspect trespassing on her property and refusing to leave. The suspect, Kristi V. Railing, was advised to leave by law enforcement and was taken home. Railing then returned and tried to enter the residence. Railing was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to the Knox County Jail without incident.

A complainant called to report that a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle that was parked on their property. A deputy spoke with the complainant via telephone and advice was given in regards to security on the premise. A report was completed for documentation of the theft.

A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation. Based on probable cause, a search was conducted of the vehicle and suspected drugs were located in the passenger’s belongings. The drugs were seized and the driver was issued a citation for the speed violation. The report will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor for review of criminal charges.
