Hubbard, Eberhardt Sentenced to Prison

Last Thursday, Judge Richard Wetzel sentenced Robert Hubbard, 35, of Centerburg, to an indefinite prison term of 3 to 4.5 years for aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony. He was in possession of approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine in a traffic stop in Mount Vernon in July of 2021. He will forfeit $448 in drug proceeds to law enforcement. Hubbard was also sentenced to six months on a receiving stolen property charge from August of 2021 where he was found in possession of a stolen pickup truck.
Wetzel also sentenced Jade Eberhardt, 30, of Centerburg, to an 18-month prison term for aggravated possession of drugs in May of 2021. She was found with methamphetamine exceeding the bulk amount, and she will forfeit $662 in drug proceeds to law enforcement.
