March 24
Dispatch advised a deputy of theft of (3) three logs used for firewood taken from an address on New Gambier Road.

Unit One was traveling east on Columbus Road. A cat ran out in front of Unit One and Unit one swerved to avoid the cat. Unit One left the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. Utility pole # 189c4-9 AEP 525 Boyle Street Mount Vernon Ohio, 43050 740-399-1540.

Unit One was attempting to pull out of a private drive and pulled into the path of Unit Two. Unit Two struck Unit One causing disabling damage to both units.

A deputy was dispatched to Kokosing Drive in Gambier for a suspicious person complaint that occurred on 03/15/2022. The deputy responded and made contact with the complainant.

A deputy spoke to a complainant at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The complainant wanted to report some concerning text messages that she had received from her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child.

Deputies received a call regarding a firearm that was stolen from a Chevy Silverado near Buena Vista Avenue. Deputies made contact with the complainant over the phone and a report was filed.
