March 23
A complainant called to report that her niece left her own residence and was off of her psych medications. A deputy responded and made contact with the complainant and the missing female’s husband. A report was completed for documentation and a statewide BOLO was released to stop and check the welfare of the female.

Deputies took a missing person’s report via phone. The complainant said she has custody over her 17-year-old niece and that she had gotten into trouble at school today, and was afraid to come home because she would be punished. The complainant advised that she was sure the juvenile was at her birth mother’s home. Marion P.D. was contacted and did confirm that she was at the home and safe. All parties were advised of the situation. Parties were advised that this would be a civil issue dealing with custody. A report was taken to document the incident.

A victim reported he allowed an acquaintance to borrow his vehicle to go buy some cigarettes. The vehicle was not returned over 48 hours later and a warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest.

A deputy was put into contact with the complainant on the report of a potential identity theft. The deputy contacted the complainant by telephone and she was able to give information that did indicate that her identity was compromised.

March 24
A complainant called and advised that her juvenile granddaughter attempted to take her own life by taking a whole bottle of allergy medication. The juvenile was transported to Children’s Hospital via EMS and a report was completed for documentation.
