March 21
Deputies were advised of a vandalism call at a residence in Fredericktown, Ohio. The complainant said someone had thrown eggs toward their home. One of the eggs landed on their porch and all the others landed in the yard. A report was taken at the complainant’s request to document the incident in case there were further incidents.

A caller reported a toddler appeared on her doorstep in just a diaper. After a brief search, the parents of the toddler were located. A report is being done for documentation.

A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that the storage door/hatch on their camper had been tampered with causing damage to the lock and door seal. A report was filed to document the incident.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that the catalytic converter on their RV had been stolen. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that eight other RVs in the immediate area had the catalytic converters cut off.

A complainant advised someone cut the catalytic converter off his vehicle at the incident location.

March 22
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Meadow Lane in Gambier on a possible domestic violence. A complainant called in stating that he believed that his friend was being assaulted by her boyfriend and needed deputies to respond to the residence. Deputies were able to make contact with the victim at the residence and after interviewing her, determined that the boyfriend would be placed under arrest for domestic violence and
menacing. The boyfriend, Jeremiah M. Shaum, was then placed in handcuffs(gapped and double-locked) and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
