January 25
While clearing snow from parking spaces within the Village (of Centerburg), a Village employee struck a parked vehicle while driving the backhoe causing minor damage to the vehicle involved.
A victim/complainant called 911 to report her ex-boyfriend assaulted her and threatened to commit suicide. Upon arrival, the ex-boyfriend, Brandon E. Price, was arrested for assault and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
January 26
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hopewell Road on a possible disturbance involving a highly intoxicated female and her husband. Deputies were able to make contact with both individuals at the residence and determined that the female would be transported to the Knox Community Hospital for a Mental Health Evaluation. Information was gathered on-scene and a report was written.
