October 1
A complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office regarding her stepson running away from home.

Brittny N. Strunk was picked up on an outstanding warrant from Knox County Common Pleas Court without incident.

A deputy made contact with two individuals at the Laymon Road canoe launch. A road sign was found that belonged to The City of Dublin. The road sign was seized and will be returned to the owner.

October 2
Mount Vernon GMC on Harcourt Road stated a customer took a 2010 corvette without permission to do so.

A deputy was dispatched to Market Street on a missing firearm.

October 3
Kenyon College Campus Safety officers located marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia in a building on campus. The marijuana and paraphernalia was collected for destruction.

Knox Community Hospital called and advised they had an elderly patient who they believed was being abused at her residence. A report was taken and forwarded to Adult Protective Services for further investigation.

October 4
A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office wanting to file a missing person report.
