The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Northern Knox County in north central Ohio...
Holmes County in northeastern Ohio...
* Until 615 PM EDT.
* At 313 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Millersburg, Berlin, Walnut Creek, Fredericktown, Danville,
Killbuck, Holmesville, Glenmont, Nashville, Farmerstown,
Winesburg, Waterford, Gann, Charm, Mount Hope and North Liberty.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
