July 27
Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a juvenile male on a roof making suicidal comments. A Deputy was able to talk the juvenile into coming down from the roof. The juvenile was transported to Children’s hospital by the medics while being released to the parent, and a report was filed.

Deputies received a report of threats, via phone, in the area of Columbus Rd. The complainant advised an unknown person had messaged him via text, threatening his life unless he paid the person $15,000. The messages were found to be a scam and a report was made for documentation.

A deputy was dispatched to Gaskin Avenue for a stolen vehicle. Dispatch advised the complainant woke up and noticed his vehicle missing from the driveway. The deputy responded and made contact with the complainant/victim.

July 28
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on the above vehicle and found the driver, Robert M. Jones, to have a suspended driver’s license. Jones was issued a traffic citation and the vehicle was parked in a parking space at Complete Care Animal Hospital and the driver was given a courtesy ride back to his residence.
