Offenses

June 2
Officers were dispatched to Follin Avenue apartments on a report of people trespassing in an apartment. Upon arrival, an officer spoke to the complaint and made contact at the residence. Another officer arrived and identified one of the occupants. The male had a warrant and was arrested without incident. A search incident to arrest revealed a vile of crystaline substance and shards. The evidence was collected and tested. The two other occupants vacated the property and a report was taken.

A theft was reported on Coshocton Avenue. A backpack containing personal items was stolen out of a shopping cart.

June 3
Officers were dispatched on an active disturbance on West Chestnut Street. Upon arrival, an officer spoke to a male, who claimed that the female had made a false complaint. When the officer spoke with the female, she claimed that the male had lied. Written statements were collected and a report will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Jake Cullen and Hayle Garrett were arrested for domestic violence and assault.

June 4
An officer responded to Coshocton Avenue on an alleged theft complaint. A report was filed for the incident.

An officer was dispatched to the Mount Vernon Police Department in reference to harassment.

Officers responded to Pennsylvania Avenue on a disturbance complaint. A female subject was located and taken into custody on a probation arrest. Items were seized as evidence by an officer. Two criminal summons were issued as a result. The female was transported to the Knox County Jail, where she was incarcerated on the probation arrest.

An officer spoke with a male at the Mount Vernon Police Department who wanted to turn in found drug paraphernalia. The paraphernalia was secured in an evidence locker at the Mount Vernon Police Department to be destroyed.

June 5
Officers responded to North Sandusky Street for a possible domestic violence. A report is being made for documentation.

An officer responded to East Hamtramck Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer observed two females fighting in the front yard. Both females declined wanting any charges. One female was charged with domestic conduct persisting and released to a friend.

June 6
An officer was dispatched to South Park Street in reference to threats. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who stated that she was threatened by a coworker this morning. The victim left work at that time but later returned. The victim stated that the threats continued until she finally left work for the day.

Units were dispatched to Shalimar Drive for the second time in reference to a disturbance.

A female contacted the Mount Vernon Police Department to report that she had left her iPad in a cart at Kroger, her iPad is gone. This case is under investigation.

Malayjia D. Langdon was cited for no operator’s license.
Tabetha L. Duncan was cited for permitting an unlicensed driver to drive.
Krystal M. Fisher was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Jake T. Cullen was charged with domestic violence and assault.
Hayley L. Garrett was charged with assault and domestic violence.

June 4
Michael R. Tucker Jr. was cited for driving an unsafe vehicle and child support suspension.

June 5
Robert A. Schaade was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Samantha L. Cunningham was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
