May 21
Deputies were dispatched to Wolf Run Park on the report of a homeless camp. Deputies made contact with one individual who was trespassed from Knox County Parks until further notice.

May 22
Deputies responded to Apple Valley Lake for a boat on fire. All passengers were rescued safely with no injuries and the fire was extinguished prior to arrival. A report was taken.

Deputies responded to the area of Columbus Road for an assault. The complainant called 911 to report a neighbor had assaulted her, then returned home. A report is under Prosecutor review for charges.

May 23
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for several moving violations on Coshocton Road. The driver, Jesse Baird, was arrested for OVI after failing field sobriety tests then transported to the Knox County Jail. Jesse refused a breath test at the jail after having three prior convictions. He was incarcerated on felony OVI charges.

A caller reported several juveniles were outside in the neighborhood, causing a disturbance threatening to beat up other juveniles. Upon arrival, two adults were in their truck following a group of juveniles kids and they were yelling at each other. All parties were warned on their conduct. A report is being sent to the Juvenile Prosecutor for review of
charges.

May 24
Deputies were dispatched with fire personnel to a residence on Short Road for a vehicle fire. The vehicle was extinguished before causing damage to the residence and surrounding vehicles.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding a domestic violence incident, as a result one female, Haylee D. Bristow, was arrested.
