Knox County dispatch received a call that Charles Shannon was spotted on a complainant’s property. Deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and a canine officer from the Mount Vernon Police Department responded to the location. With assistance from Mount Vernon Police K9 Laya, Charles was
tracked and taken into custody without incident. Charles was transported to the Knox County Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to Wooster Road in the area of Rinehart Road. The deputy responded to the area looking for a male lying in the tree line with a red cap on and covered up in leaves.
