April 2
Deputies responded to Columbus Rd. for a complaint of drugs found. Narcotics were seized and placed into evidence
for disposal.

A complainant advised someone had vandalized her vehicle while she was asleep. A report was taken on the
complainants behalf.

April 4
Deputies were dispatched to the K&P Storage Facility on Pittsburgh Avenue in Mount Vernon on a possible trespassing. Deputies were able to make contact with the Complainant/Owner of the property at this location and determined that an unknown female individual had broken into storage unit’s on the property and that items may have been stolen. After clearing the scene, Deputies received a second call from the complainant advising that the suspect was still on the property and was observed fleeing the area on foot. Deputies were able to locate Tonia L. Smith and placed her under arrest. Property from the storage units was also located and seized as evidence.

A complainant advised she believed she was scammed in an attempt to purchase a dog through Facebook. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

The Complainant advised there was an individual slumped over the steering of a vehicle at in Columbus Road. Mount Vernon Squad arrived and transported to Knox Community Hospital.

April 5
A deputy responded to a residence on Jug Run Road on a female experiencing a mental health crisis and was wanting to go to the hospital. The deputy was able to make contact with the female at this
residence and transported her to the Knox Community Hospital to speak to a Behavioral Health Representative.

Deputies responded to the area of Lakeview Heights for a report of a deceased person. A report was taken
