March 27
A deputy received an anonymous complaint of 2 persons with warrants that were on their way to the Knox County Title Department to conduct business. The two were located, a warrant was confirmed on Jessica E. Sweet, and drugs were found in the vehicle.

A deputy made contact with a male sleeping in his vehicle on West Vine Street to check his welfare. The man sleeping in the vehicle was found to be okay but dispatch advised that the BMV wanted the dealer license plate displayed on the vehicle to be confiscated. The plates were seized to be sent back to the BMV.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Graham Road on a disturbance. Deputies made contact with the involved parties and determined the incident was verbal in nature between parents and a child. Advice was given to all parties involved and a report was written.

March 28
A Knox County Sheriff’s Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Kevin J. Toney, was arrested for suspicion of OVI and was taken to jail for testing. Toney was also cited for fictitious plates and driving left of center.
