Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Mar 25, 2021

A deputy was dispatched to a possible vandalism call. The caller stated that an unknown person attempted to defeat the lock on the front door. There was no visible evidence of damage to the lock.
Deputies from the Knox County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on the scene, conducted an investigation into the matter and an arrest was made for domestic violence. Evan W. Dickerson was transported to the Knox County jail without incident.
Deputies were advised of a burglary call that could be handled by phone. The complainant, a Howard resident said that someone had damaged the door frame by prying on it. The resident said that nothing was missing from the house and would like a report taken for documentation of the incident.
Deputies were advised a complainant was at headquarters wanting to file a report on identity fraud. The complainant said that while she was incarcerated, an unknown person opened a utility bill in her name. A statement was collected and a report was made.
