March 5
The East Knox School District reported an incident where a motorist had passed a school bus that was stopped and picking up children. Deputies responded to the area and were unable to locate or make contact with the vehicle or driver.

A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a report of identity fraud.

A complainant came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report an unemployment fraud that was filed using his name. A report was taken.

A complainant reported that sometime since the evening of March 1, 2021 persons unknown stole her bike. A report was taken.

March 6
Knox County Deputies and Mount Vernon Police responded to the area of Coshocton Rd. for a report of a suspicious person. The suspect, David L. Cross II, was located and arrested on outstanding warrants.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a report about their Landlord entering their residence while they were not there and unannounced.

A complainant reported that sometime overnight person(s) unknown damaged his mailbox. A report was taken.

A complainant came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report identity theft and theft. A report was taken and an investigation has begun.

March 7
A complainant advised someone had stolen his I-PAD Air 3 from his pickup truck. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.

Deputies were dispatched to a property on Hunter Road in reference to people shooting from a closed bridge into the river. Deputies spoke with the people on the scene and per the property owner, they were subsequently trespassed from the property. One of the persons involved driver’s license was confiscated per the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Registrar.

A Deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College on the report of three bicycles that were stolen. A report was filed and the bicycles were entered into LEADS as stolen.

A complainant advised someone had damaged his mailbox and requested a report to be on file for documentation.

A complainant advised her trash can was stolen from her driveway and needed a report for documentation.
