Teen Makerspace Activities for Grades 6-12 Sponsored by The Ariel Foundation

It’s a new year at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County and we have some incredible activities planned for all age groups and the coordinators of the Teen Makerspace have outdone themselves with new craft bags and videos posted to our social media, just for the teens!

Starting February 2, craft bags are available for pick up on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, while supplies last. For all of 2021, Morgan and Desiree will be putting out two bags per month, the first craft bag will contain an art or craft project and the second bag will be science or engineering based project. Each bag will also contain a project for the following week that will be a project or activity to help your teen to reduce stress and relax.

If you find that your teen is missing out on getting a craft bag, please reach out to us on Instagram @makerspaceplmvkc or email Morgan and Desire at tmsplmvkc@gmail.com.
