United Way Annual Meeting Goes Virtual

MOUNT VERNON —   United Way of Knox County is proud to invite all community members to participate in its upcoming annual meeting.

The meeting will be held Thursday, March 4 at noon, via Zoom. The Zoom meeting will feature highlights of United Way’s accomplishments in 2020, unveil the annual report, recognize community partners, host guest speakers. United Way will also recognize retiring board members, welcome new board, and hold officer elections.

Executive Director Kelly Brenneman is excited about this unique opportunity. “One thing that 2020 taught us was to be flexible and use technology to continue our business. Providing a virtual meeting option builds our capacity to reach and engage more community members. We can host more participants than was possible in our past meeting format. We hope Knox County residents tune in and see the amazing work that was accomplished by United Way and its partner agencies in 2020,” commented Brenneman.
