December 28
A Complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office stating that there was a disabled vehicle on Apple Valley Drive near Baldwin Heights Circle in Howard. The vehicle was abandoned so the vehicle was towed due to its impeding traffic.

A Deputy was en route to a call for service, traveling on Schenck Creek Road near Tish Road in Howard when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the patrol vehicle causing minor damage. The deer was alive but severely injured. The deer was dispatched by the deputy’s service pistol.

December 29
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Stutz Avenue in Mount Vernon on a possible domestic violence. Upon arrival on-scene, Deputies were able to determine that the wife of the complainant had physically assaulted him and was requesting deputies to respond to the residence. Allison N Spaulding was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

A Complainant advised that an unemployment claim was fraudulently taken out in her name. A report was taken for documentation.

A Complainant advised that a small business loan had been taken out fraudulently in her name. A report was made for documentation.

December 30
A Deputy spoke to a complainant by telephone. The Complainant wanted to report that the Bureau of Unemployment had contacted his employer and he is not on unemployment.

A Complainant believes that someone attempted to enter his apartment by busting the doorknob. No entry was gained into the residence

A Complainant advised that someone had used his debit card information without his permission and wanted a report on file for documentation.
