December 10
A Deputy was dispatched to Seventh Avenue in Mount Vernon on the report of a missing person. The caller stated that her husband exited the vehicle in the parking of Lowes and ran towards Coshocton Road and was last seen walking in the area of Hardees Restaurant on Coshocton Road. The missing male was wearing a black coat with a black hoodie, blue jeans, and black shoes at the time of his disappearance.

Deputies responded to a female slumped over behind the wheel of a vehicle. The female was transported to Knox Community Hospital for a medical evaluation.

Dispatch advised that a mother called in to report that her daughter made suicidal remarks and has cut herself. Deputies made contact with the juvenile and her mother. The mother transported her daughter to Knox Community Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

A Complainant reported that his girlfriend had made some threats to self-harm. the girlfriend was taken to Knox Community Hospital/Emergency Room for evaluation.

 

December 11
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Ohio State Highway Patrol asking for a welfare check on a female and her child. Deputies located the female and she was fine and advised that her son was with a friend. Contact was made with the friend by the Mount Vernon Police Department, and they found that the child was fine.

A Complainant advised that a victim unresponsive on the floor of a residence on Millersburg Road in Howard. Eastern Knox county Joint Fires District responded and pronounced the time of death.
