Search Warrant Conducted on West Chestnut Street

On November 20, 2020, at approximately 2:15 PM, Officers from the Mount Vernon Police Department Emergency Service Unit and Detective Division executed a search warrant at 807 West Chestnut Street, Apt 4, Mount Vernon, Ohio.

 

The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Mount Vernon Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office into illicit activities being conducted at the residence. During the search, drugs, items of drug abuse and drug trafficking were seized. Several suspects were detained and Identified. Individual charges will be filed at a later date, as the investigation is ongoing,

The Mount Vernon Police Department is a member of the METRICH Enforcement Unit, a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement task force. The task force is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life for the citizens of the METRICH region by reducing the availability of illegal drugs and weapons through community partnerships; promoting safe, secure neighborhoods.
