On October 13th, 2020, a Complainant advised that someone had posted threats on social media and she was afraid that they might follow through on the threats.

Deputies with the assistance of the Mount Vernon Police Department and Ashland County Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit. Mark Hughes was observed driving left of center. A traffic stop was initiated but the suspect fled. The pursuit ended in Ashland County where the suspect’s vehicle was disabled and Hughes was arrested for eluding/fleeing, failure to comply, left of center, reckless operation, and speeding on October 13th, 2020.

A Complainant advised that her mower had been stolen on October 12th, 2020.

Deputies were dispatched to Chestnut Ridge Road in Danville on an inactive burglary where multiple items were stolen on October 12th, 2020.

A Complainant advised that her ATV had been taken sometime between October 6th, 2020, and October 9th, 2020.

Kenyon College Safety advised that they had found marijuana. The item was picked up by a Deputy on October 11th, 2020, and placed into evidence for destruction.

An individual was located at Honey Run Park that had threatened self-harm. The individual was transported to the Knox Community Hospital on October 11th, 2020.

Complainants advised that noise from their neighbor is ongoing in violation of a cease and desist order. A report was made for documentation on October 13th, 2020.

On October 10th, 2020, a Deputy conducted a follow-up regarding trespassing. The property owner advised that they wanted to file charges.

A Complainant reported that her purse was taken from her vehicle on October 10th, 2020.

Charles Carver, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants on October 11th, 2020.

A suspicious vehicle was reported parked at the boat ramp at Kokosing Lake with someone slumped over inside the vehicle. Deputies responded to investigate the complaint. Marijuana was located in the vehicle and collected for destruction on October 10th, 2020.
