Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Sep 18, 2020

A traffic stop was conducted by the Mount Vernon Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. During the traffic stop, multiple drug paraphernalia along with narcotics were seized from the vehicle after a probable cause search was conducted. Karena Curtis was charged with possession of drugs and Brynnan Seiter, of Marion, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on September 17th, 2020.
Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance of ex-spouses yelling at each other in the street. The parties were separated and warned on their conduct on September 17th, 2020.
A Complainant advised that a deer was hit in front of their house and it needed to be dispatched. The deer was dispatched and a slip was issued to the property owner on September 17th, 2020.
