Night and Weekend Staff Wanted

New Directions, the Domestic Abuse Shelter and Rape Crisis Center of Knox County is seeking part-time night and/or weekend staff to work with clients in our shelter. The successful candidate will interact with residents, provide support, and ensure safety of residents while in shelter.

Professional duties will include documentation of interactions with residents, general cleaning/maintenance functions, and other tasks as needed. This position may require flexibility with hours and coverage and will only be needed when residents are in shelter.

A high school diploma/GED is required and experience working in the domestic violence field is preferred. Successful completion of background check and drug screening are also required. This would be an excellent opportunity for a college student looking for experience in a social service field!
