Join our Happiness Project!
Now that the Departments of Family Medicine and Pediatrics are together in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion, we have a project that needs your help. The Covid-19 restrictions and distancing have made many people, especially older people, feel extremely lonely. Most have been shut-in for a long time, with very little contact with others. That means they haven’t had a family member hug them in over four months! And some older patients have no family at all.
So, how can you help?
By making a fun, simple, colorful card you can brighten their day! Or you could draw a picture or write a short letter. Or do all three! Be creative. A small act of kindness can produce a big handful of happiness.
