We are so humbled by our community’s graciousness and have just received word from Knox Area Transit and the Mount Vernon Association of Police Chaplains that the milk distribution program will CONTINUE!! So far it has been confirmed that there will be distributions through the end of July (we will keep you updated throughout the summer if this changes) on Wednesdays from 5-7 pm. As the program has grown, so have the distribution sites. The main site to pick up your milk is at the Lakeholm Church on Glen Road. However, KAT will be making trips to neighborhoods throughout the county between 5 and 6:30 pm on that same evening. The neighborhoods where KAT will be distributing milk are: Follin Ave., Hillside, J&J Ashburn Plaza Apartments, Colonial Estates, Dogwood Place, Evergreen Apartments, and Beechtree. If you can’t make it out to Lakeholm, feel free to pick up your milk from one of KAT’s distribution neighborhoods. Questions? Contact the Salvation Army office. #GotMilk
