Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 19, 2020

Deputies responded to the area of Apple Valley Road and Beaver Road on a call of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a vehicle crashed into a fence line near the intersection. Deputies could observe marijuana drug paraphernalia in the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect, Rylee Weber of Lorain, was found walking on North Ridge Heights Drive and was also in possession of marijuana. Weber was cited with two misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia on May 19th, 2020.

Deputies responded to Mickley Road for a possible intoxicated driver parked on the roadway. The driver, David Gray of Akron, was arrested for OVI, open container and obstructing official business. He was transported to the Knox County Jail on May 18th, 2020.

William Miller of Frazeysburg was arrested and charged with domestic violence on May 18th, 2020.

Bryan Staats, of Danville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on May 18th, 2020.

A Complainant wanted to report that she had items stolen out of her friend’s saddlebag while at an establishment in Howard on May 16th, 2020.
