The Mount Vernon Police Department is hiring a parking enforcement officer. Applicants should be physically fit, capable of spending large amounts of time outside in inclement weather, able to work flexible hours, and assist the public with questions regarding parking ordinances, policies, and complaints.
Applicants must be:
18 years of age
Have a valid Ohio driver’s license and a good driving record
Experience working with the public
A background check will be conducted by the Mount Vernon Police Department. A physical examination will be required.
