Lieutenant Position
The Central Ohio Joint Fire District will be accepting applications for the rank of a Lieutenant. We will be conducting a written exam, physical agility and officer level assessment.

 

Minimum qualifications are:

1. Must have minimum 1-3 years experience as a full-time firefighter that rides out of class or has fireground supervisory experience.

2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

3. Possess a High school diploma or equivalent.

4. Possess a valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record.

5. Possess State of Ohio Firefighter II Certification and Emergency Medical Paramedic certification.

Preferred qualifications are OFE, Fire Inspector or Instructor, Officer 1 and Associate Degree in Fire Administration or equivalent.
Applicants are required to pass a background check, drug screen and a physical examination prior to employment. Central Ohio Joint Fire District offers a competitive pay and compensation package.
