IT TAKES A VILLAGE! Chief Weckesser and Lt. Perkins and the Danville Police Department would like to extend a special thank you to our community and specifically one individual who noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near the school. This prompted law enforcement to take action. The individual was subsequently arrested and taken to jail where he is being held on a parole violation. Your help resulted in the arrest of a parole violator/convicted sex offender. We encourage citizens to contact law enforcement with any suspicious activity! Thank you!
