Friends of the Library Book Warehouse Closing for Season

The final day for the season for the public to enjoy the Friends of the Library Book Warehouse will be Saturday, November 9, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Then, for a one-day special event, all members of Friends of the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County are invited to a Friends Members Only Free Day on Saturday, November 16, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. FOL members will be able to take new and used books, movies, music, and other materials for free as the warehouse prepares to close to the public for the winter season.

Individual, Family and Lifetime FOL memberships will be available at the door. In honor of Veteran’s Day, all veterans will receive a free guest membership at the door for free entry into the event.

The FOL Book Warehouse is located at 13081 Coffing Road, Mount Vernon, across from Knox Berry Farm. Take SR 13 north out of Mount Vernon towards Fredericktown, turn left onto Green Valley Road, then take second right on Coffing Road. The building was previously used as Green Valley (Coffing) Meats and Specialty Pie Bakers.

Refreshments will be served. Donations from the FOL Book Warehouse are used for special requests and programs at the Mount Vernon main library, the Fredericktown Community Library, the Danville Public Library, and the Gambier Community Library.
