COLUMBUS, Ohio – In honor of Veterans Day, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will offer U.S. military, both active duty and veterans, a 30% discount off camping, getaway rentals, and state-operated cabin stays during November.
“It’s always a privilege to host the brave individuals who served to protect our country,” said ODNR Director Mary Mertz. “We hope veterans, along with their friends and families, will have the opportunity to make special memories at Ohio state parks.”

This discount is subject to availability and applies to walk-ins or new reservations at open campgrounds, as well as new cabin reservations at Buck Creek, Cowan Lake, Dillon, Lake Hope, Hocking Hills, Malabar Farm, Mohican, Pike Lake, and Pymatuning state parks.
Throughout the year, ODNR offers a 10% discount for active or military veterans for camping, cabins, and lodge rooms at any of Ohio’s nine state park lodges. Military identification must be presented at the time of arrival or check-in to receive the discount.
Restrictions and blackout dates do apply, and this offer cannot be combined with other discounts or applied to group blocks.
