Separate sealed bids for Combined Sewer Separation, Phases 7 & 8, Village of Fredericktown, 2 E. Sandusky Street, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019, will be received by the office of Bruce Snell, Village Administrator, until 11:00 am, local time, on July 8th, 2019, at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Form, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined for no charge or obtained for $50.00 per set at:

Checks shall be made payable to K.E. McCartney & Associates, Inc. and all documents become the property of the prospective bidder, with no portion of the payment being refunded.
As part of the Village of Fredericktown’s multi-phase Combined Sewer Project, these plans include Phases 7 & 8. Drainage inlets on Taylor Street, W. Taylor Street and on W. Sandusky Street will be disconnected from the existing sanitary sewer system and new storm water infrastructure will be installed. The proposed storm sewer infrastructure will connect with existing storm infrastructure.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity which does not affect the competitive nature of the bidding process or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its bid, a Bid Guaranty and Contract bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond Form shall be issued by a Surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Knox County and Village of Fredericktown, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division, 614-644-2239.
