  1. WOW ! no mention of the real heroes during this horrible accident. You forgot to mention the neighbors, one helped remove the injured driver from the burning car. One tended to the severely injured driver that was removed from the same burning car. One neighbor extinguished the fire in the engine compartment. Yet more locals, were assisting the other occupants in the black vehicle that was struck. This remedial action was preformed, prior to the arrival of the EMT’s and the local fire dept. We the locals have seen to many accidents at this intersection, its not our first time in hearing the sounds of skidding tires and vehicles crashing. We even hear the screams of the aftermath. ODOT is very well aware of never ending dangers of this intersection. I wished the FAT CATS of ODOT District 5 could actually see the things we see,and hear the things we hear. Yes ODOT DICTRICT 5 continue to turn your heads. YOU, will have blood on your hands for doing nothing, some day ! KUDDOS to the locals, for being there to help these people in their real hour of need. I’m glad you are my neighbor. SHAME ON YOU ODOT DISTRICT 5
