Columbus Zoo Animal Adventurers will Visit Library Rocks! Children’s Summer Reading Program



The Columbus Zoo will return with “Animal Adventures” its popular traveling exhibition full of surprises, animals and fun facts to the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County Children’s Summer Reading Program, “Library Rocks!” on Wednesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 28.

 

The program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is free to all ages. Registration is not required. Program schedules and locations are as follows:

Wednesday, June 27
10:00 a.m. – Gambier Community Library at the Gambier Community Center
1:00 p.m. – Fredericktown Community Library at the Fredericktown School Administration Building (old high school)

Thursday, June 28
10:00 a.m. – Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County at the Mount Vernon Y-Sports Center, Chestnut Street (park at the main library or the Living Center)
1:00 p.m. – Danville Public Library @ St. Luke’s Community Center

Programs are designed for children up to fifth grade. Participants can attend one or all of the programs at each location.
