Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jun 11, 2018

A complainant, of the 29000 block of Mount Zion Road in Frazysburg, advised that a DISH account had been opened in her name. She called the company and had it canceled but wished for a report to be made for documentation on June 8th, 2018.

David B Davis, of Fredericktown, was stopped for not using his turn signal. After further investigation, Davis was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle impaired (OVI) on June 8th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 16000 block of Millersburg Road in Danville, called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report credit card fraud. The complainant requested a report be made so that the credit card company could complete their investigation.

Casey R Brooks, of Tipp City, was observed operating a personal watercraft without a life jacket which is a violation of ORC 1547.25. Law enforcement talked with Brooks and gave him a life vest and followed him to Davis Beach. Brooks did not have a registration on board or a working fire extinguisher. A warning was given for these two violations and a citation was issued for no life vest. His friends in a boat brought him a life vest and they had an extra fire extinguisher on their boat that they gave to him. Brooks was polite and helpful in providing what the officers needed for the inspection on June 9th, 2018.

Brandon I Korns, of Howard, was found to be intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test after being observed following too closely to another vehicle. Korns was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail on June 9th, 2018.
