SR 541 Closure for Culvert Replacements

Beginning Monday, November 27, SR 541 in Martinsburg will be closed at multiple locations while ODOT crews work on replacing culverts in the area.

  • 11/27/17 – 11/28/17: Between Veach Road and Cullison Road
  • 11/28/17 – 12/1/17: Between Cullison Road and Bladensburg city limits

Banbury Indicted for Involuntary Manslaughter in Jail Overdose Death

The Knox County Grand Jury handed down a five-count indictment against Dennis Banbury, Jr. on Monday, stemming from a June incident where a Knox County Jail inmate died from a drug overdose.

Banbury was indicted on one count of corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony, and one count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony for allegedly supplying the illegal narcotics that caused the death of Warren Bradford Taylor on June 3, 2017.Read full story

BCI Facial Reconstruction Created of Summit County John Doe

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, Summit County Medical Examiner Dr. Lisa Kohler, and Twinsburg Police Chief Christopher J. Noga today unveiled the forensic facial reconstruction of a man whose skeletal remains were found more than 20 years ago.

The clay model was created by a forensic artist with the Attorney General’s Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in an effort to help Summit County authorities identify the man.… Read full story
