Monarchs Are on the Move!

You might now begin to notice monarch butterflies as the fall migration to Mexico begins.

In the entire world, no butterflies migrate like the monarchs of North America. They travel much farther than all other tropical butterflies, up to three thousand miles. It takes four generations of monarchs to complete the entire migration cycle. But residential areas planted with butterfly attracting plants such as milkweed, asters, yarrow, goldenrod, sedum, and others will bring them to your home during their trip south.
