Chemical Dependency Professional Position Available

The Freedom Center is a CARF accredited outpatient community behavior health organization offering high-quality, respectful and affordable mental health, substance abuse, and support services to individuals and families for more than 35 years.
We are currently seeking a talented chemical dependency professional to provide assessment, individual and group counseling services to adult inmates in a local correctional facility.
Duties include but not limited to providing a thorough diagnostic assessment, development and implementation of individualized treatment plan, reentry planning, conducts individual and group therapeutic services in accordance with agency established standard of care and communicates with families, referral sources and other interested parties in order to exchange necessary information for the treatment process. The candidate invited to join our team will aspire to create a counseling experience where every client feels understood, respected and cared for.

This position requires at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and at least Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant licensure as recognized by the Ohio Credentialing Board. Must also be able to work independently.
