Ohio Natural Resources Hall of Fame Inductions and Cardinal Awards

Yesterday, ODNR Director Mary Mertz inducted two individuals in to the Ohio Natural Resources Hall of Fame as well as recognized three others for their commitment to Ohio’s natural resources.
Dr. Barbara Kloha Andreas of South Bloomingville and Guy Denny of Fredericktown were inducted into the Ohio Natural Resources Hall of Fame while Terry Cosby, the Buckeye Trail Association, and Columbus Audubon Society’s Service in the Preserves program were awarded the agency’s Cardinal Award.

Ohio EPA Selects 2021 Environmental Scholarship Winners

August 4, 2021 – Nine environmental science and engineering students have been awarded scholarships through Ohio EPA’s Environmental Education Fund to study at Ohio colleges and universities. Full-Dose Blood Thinners Reduce the Need for Organ Support in Moderately Ill COVID-19 Patients, but not in Critically Ill Patients

A large clinical trial conducted worldwide shows that treating moderately ill hospitalized COVID-19 patients with a full-dose blood thinner reduced their need for organ support, such as mechanical ventilation, and improved their chances of leaving the hospital. The OneView Parent Portal can be accessed through the district website at www.mvcsd.us.
Parents/guardians will receive an email this week from the school with their child’s grade and teacher designation for the 2021-2022 school year.
