WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has awarded $739,370 to the Ohio Emergency Management Agency to aid in the development, implementation, and improvement of emergency plans for local communities and to train emergency responders to help communities prepare for a potential hazardous materials transportation incident.… Read full story

Governor DeWine Announces New Statewide Grant Program to Address Violent Crime

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced that $4 million in grant funding is now available to help local law enforcement agencies implement new violent crime reduction strategies in their communities.
