Annual Food for the Hungry Drive Collections Begin November 1

It is almost time for the annual Food for the Hungry Drive, a food and money drive which benefits Knox County Interchurch Social Services and Salvation Army.
Food items needed in Fredericktown Interchurch food pantry are:
Canned fruit – pineapple, peaches, and mixed fruit, canned vegetables – corn, carrots, mixed vegetables and canned or box potatoes, pouches of Knorr rice side dishes, small bottles of ketchup and mustard, canned soup (tomato, chicken noodle and cream of… soups), and sugar.

Motorcycle Ohio Announces $2.5 Million in Funding for Motorcycle Rider Training

Columbus – Motorcycle Ohio, a division of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, today announced $2.5 million in available funding for government agencies and nonprofit organizations that are interested in offering certified motorcycle rider training. 

Motorcycle Ohio establishes motorcycle safety and education programs to provide affordable motorcycle rider training courses in order to reduce fatalities and injuries on Ohio’s roadways through rider education, public information campaigns, and licensing improvement.  Read full story
