January 9
Deputies arrested a male on an outstanding warrant and relayed the male with the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy responded to a report of an injured deer in the roadway on Danville-Jelloway Road. The deer was located and dispatched, with one round fired from the deputy’s office issued handgun. No damage was reported to the caller’s vehicle and a deer slip was issued for the animal.
January 10
A deputy was dispatched to the area of Cassell Road near Green Valley Road on a vehicle crash involving a deer. Photographs and statements were collected on-scene and a report was written.
Deputies responded to a male sleeping at a gas station in Bladensburg. During the contact with the individual a K-9 was used to conduct a free air sniff with a positive alert. Prescription drugs were found that did not belong to the only individual in the car. The drugs were seized for safe keeping.
