Deputies responded to a call regarding harassment. Deputies made contact with the complainant at an address on Columbus Road. Deputies collected a statement from the complainant. The complainant was advised that a report would be filed and sent down to the Law Director’s Office for review of possible charges.

A female came into the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report an attempted fraud. A report was generated for documentation.

Deputies were dispatched to Debolt Road to investigate claims of an unruly child. The complainant stated that her daughter had drugs and a cell phone on her that was not hers. Deputies took a report and the drug was confiscated. Nothing further at this time.

A caller reported a male subject threw a salt shaker at her, cutting the caller’s face and shoulder. Upon arrival, the male was arrested for assault and transported to the Knox County Jail. All parties were warned on their conduct and a separate report is being sent to the City Law Director’s Office for review of Disorderly Conduct charges.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their bank account had been hacked and funds were removed without their permission. The complainant further advised they believe they were a victim of a scam.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report a vehicle had been stolen from their car dealership. A few hours later the vehicle was located and returned to the dealership. A report was filed.
