Key Job Responsibilities:
Specific duties as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician will include:
- Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
- The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.
- Ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and understand blue prints, drawing layouts, operation/service manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications. Must have solid electrical/welding/mechanical knowlede to be able to disassemble, repair and reassemble all machinery, equipment and facilities using service manuals and/or common logic.
Possess basic tool kit:
- Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience.
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
- A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- A strong trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
- Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.92 – $25.38 per hour
