November 23
Deputies responded to a location on Wooster Road on a call for service from a caller wishing to report harassment. Contact was made with a suspect who was advised to cease the conduct or possibly face charges for telecommunications harassment. A report was taken to document the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road, Mount Vernon Ohio, on a male with Alzheimer’s being combative and making suicidal comments. Deputies arrived on the scene and as well as EMS. The male was transported to the Knox Community Hospital.

A deputy was dispatched to a supermarket on Columbus Road in Centerburg, Ohio on an attempted fraud incident. The deputy arrived on the scene and made contact with the complainant. A report was generated for documentation purposes.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Daniels Road on a possible trespassing. The complainant/property owner called in advising that he located an unoccupied vehicle on his property, and wanted it removed and the individual driving the vehicle trespassed from his property. Deputies made contact with the individual driving the vehicle and determined that this was the second time that he has been caught trespassing on other people’s property. The individual was warned on his conduct that any more incidents would result in criminal charges for trespassing. A report was written for documentation purposes.

A complainant called and reported that two unknown suspects were attempting to get into her car. Deputies responded and were unable to locate the individuals. A short time later a second complainant called to
report that two individuals were inside her vehicle but she did not believe they were able to take anything. A report was completed for documentation and an investigation was initiated.

November 24
Deputies with the assistance of Mount Vernon Police Department Officers conducted a traffic stop on the defendant’s vehicle for a moving violation. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and drugs, drug paraphernalia and a firearm was seized and placed into evidence.

A deputy was dispatched to the Centerburg Commons on a possible disturbance. A complainant called in stating that she had caught her next-door neighbor peeping through her windows and wanted a deputy to respond. Statements were collected and a report was written for documentation.

November 25
Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at an apartment building on W. Main Street, Centerburg, Ohio. Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with a hostile male who was yelling. The male was arrested for
disorderly conduct-persist and transported to the Knox County Jail.

Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Zolman Road. Once on the scene, deputies collected photos of the crash, witness statement forms, and impounded the vehicle. The driver was issued a citation and transported to the hospital. There was a report made to document the incident.
