Offenses

November 9
Officers responded to a disturbance complaint on Shalimar Drive.

November 10
An officer responded to Martinsburg Road in reference to a theft. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

An officer was dispatched to Hard Stree for domestic violence. A report was taken. No charges have been filed.

November 11
Units were dispatched to the area of Newark Road and Mount Vernon Road for a road hazard. A manned forklift was found in the roadway and collected to be stored for safekeeping. Nothing further.

An officer was dispatched to West Vine Street for vandalism.

Units were requested, by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, to respond to a residence on South Monroe Street for a drug overdose. Upon arrival, units made contact with the complainant and a male who was overdosing. Mount Vernon Fire Department medics arrived on the scene and the male was transported to Knox Community Hospital. This report will be forwarded to the Mount Vernon Police Department detectives for review.

Units responded to Shalimar Drive in reference to a domestic violence call. No arrests were made as a result of this incident. This report will be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office to review for charges.

An officer responded to a found property call in the area of Kroger. One female was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

November 12
an officer was dispatched to Walmart at 1575 Coshocton Avenue for a theft.

November 13
Units responded to Follin Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Unrelated to the disturbance, one male was arrested on an active warrant and transported to the Knox County Jail.

Michael E. Kupiec was cited for fictitious license plates, expired license plates, driving under a 12-point suspension, and 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.

Maverick Peters was cited for expired license plates and driving under an FRA suspension.

November 11
Benjamin J. Ballmer was cited for a right turn on red violation.
Amy J. Yocum was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Richard W. Cly was cited for operator/chauffer license required.
Alicia N. Burwell was cited for Speed Limit – 20mph School Zone.
James H. Dean III was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and driving under the influence.

November 12
