Orchestra to Celebrate Veterans on November 11

MOUNT VERNON, OHIO (November 7, 2022) – The Mount Vernon High School Symphony Orchestra will present a Veterans Day Concert on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the High School Theater. The concert will feature several patriotic tunes and military service songs. Veterans are important to our community and this is one way that we can show our appreciation; please join us!

The MVHS Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Anthony Springer, assisted by Chris Japikse. The ensemble has received several accolades from the Ohio Music Education Association. The Mount Vernon City Schools was recognized by the NAMM Foundation as a Best Community for Music Education in 2016.
