MOUNT VERNON, OHIO (November 7, 2022) – Our 6th grade band and orchestra students have been working hard learning how to play their instruments and they’re ready for their first concert! Join us on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Middle School Gym.
The 6th Grade Band is conducted by Julia Haller and Trevor Marcho. The 6th Grade Orchestra is conducted by Chris Japikse and Anthony Springer. Mount Vernon students begin musical instrument instruction in the 6th grade. The Mount Vernon City Schools was recognized by the NAMM Foundation as a Best Community for Music Education in 2016.
